Hudak Pleased Province Invests in West Lincoln Libraries

WEST LINCOLN - Tim Hudak, MPP for Erie-Lincoln, is pleased that Culture Minister Caroline Di Cocco has granted West Lincoln Public Libraries $132,000 for renovations. The funds will assist the West Lincoln Public Library in renovating and improving their Caistorville and Wellandport library branches.

"The people of Caistorville and Wellandport have shown exemplary dedication to improving their library facilities," said Tim Hudak. "Furthermore, the commitment Caistorville residents have demonstrated through their fundraising and advocacy has paid off with funding from the West Lincoln Council and now further support from the Province of Ontario."

Renovating and expanding existing libraries have both cultural and economic benefits for communities like Caistorville and Wellandport. We have very hard working and talented staff at the West Lincoln Libraries. This funding will help improve the buildings where they work diligently to provide top notch service to local residents.

"I have been a consistent critic that the McGuinty Liberals have put small town Ontario on the backburner, "Hudak said. "But I will give credit where credit is due. This $132,000 is a worthy and very helpful investment of taxpayers' dollars."
